Megan Boswell asked the judge to let her out of jail
Megan (Lil’ Megan) Boswell
wants Judge James Goodwin to let her out of jail and to just never mind the
fact that she’s been indicted on 11 counts of lying to the police about the whereabouts of her 15-month-old toddler daughter, Evelyn Mae Boswell, who was found dead, buried in the back of Megan Boswell’s daddy’s backyard, during March of this year.
Megan Boswell’s daddy hasn’t been charged with anything. Lil’ Megan, though, has not only the 11 counts of lying she has to answer for, but Sullivan County Assistant District Attorney (ADA) Teresa Nelson says she plans on charging Lil’ Megan, there, with murder.
Her lawyer Brad Spoles, however, isn’t paying any of that any never mind. He says that Evelyn Boswell’s being buried in Megan Boswell’s daddy’s backyard in the clothes she was last seen wearing and her toys surrounding her lifeless body ain’t got nothing to do with nothing because all his client’s been charged with is lying, not killing. And the last time he checked, breaking the Seventh Commandment, and not the Fifth Commandment, is a crime punishable by probation under man’s law.
Therefore, according to Brad Spoles, due to his client only being charged with lying about the whereabouts of her daughter and not the actual killing of her daughter, Boswell should be set free to roam the streets of Sullivan County, Tennessee.
The judge ain’t with that, there, though. The one thing that Judge James Goodwin’s many, many years of experience in the legal profession has taught him is that the ol’ saying, “If you’ll lie, you’ll steal. If you’ll steal, you’ll kill,” is also true. Hell, it’s the reason why he increased Megan Boswell’s $25,000 bond to $150,000 after the police found the 15-month-old toddler buried in her grand-daddy’s backyard.
Say it with me now, “If you’ll lie, you’ll steal. If you’ll steal, you’ll kill.” That’s right. And the one thing that Lil’ Megan, there, has done is nothing but lie; which is evident by the fact that the police found her 15-month-old toddler daughter dead in Megan Boswell’s daddy’s backyard.
It’s for that reason that Judge James Goodwin isn’t lowering the $150,000 bond, and having the hearing, on August 28, 2020, on the false report case that Megan Boswell filed when she was weaving her web of lies about the whereabouts of her dead 15-month-old toddler daughter.
